MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511017416 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 27, 2025, for Adjustable Infant Sleeping Posture Maintenance Device.

Abstract: An adjustable infant sleeping posture maintenance device comprising a cushioned plate 101 positioned on a fixed surface having a circular cavity 102 marked on plate 101 over which infant’s head is positioned, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 103 is installed on plate 101 to determine dimensions of infant’s head, multiple motorized hinges 104 integrated in periphery of cavity 102 to tilt potions of cavity 102 to adapt dimensions of cavity 102 as per infant’s head, an air inflatable bag 105 fabricated on plate 101 to tilt potions of cavity 102 to adapt dimensions of cavity 102 as per infant’s head and a pair of extendable flaps 106 arranged at lateral ends of plate 101 to extend/retract for getting positioned over corner of infant’s head to stabilize the infant’s head.
