Abstract: An adjustable fuel tanker opening covering device comprising, a circular-shaped plate 101 developed to be attached with fuel cap opening of a fuel tanker, an imaging unit 102 to determine dimensions of the fuel cap opening, an expandable pulley arrangement 103 integrated within the plate 101, wherein based on detected dimensions of the cap opening, an inbuilt microcontroller actuates the pulley arrangement 103 for expanding/ compressing the plate 101, resulting in increase/ decrease in diameter of the plate 101, for securing the plate 101 over the opening, plurality of flaps 104 assembled on outer periphery of the plate 101 and integrated with multiple motorized hinges 105 to provide tilting movement to the flaps 104 in order to position the flaps 104 on periphery of the fuel cap opening, a rubberized block 106 integrated at apex of each of the flaps 104 for acquiring a grip over the opening’s periphery.
