Abstract: ABSTRACT ADJUSTABLE DOUBLE-BLADE PALATAL GRAFT HARVESTER The present disclosure relates to an adjustable double-blade palatal graft harvester for obtaining a free gingival graft or palatal soft tissue graft strip of predetermined and reproducible width. The device includes an ergonomic handle, an elongated shank, a head assembly, first and second blade carriers, replaceable parallel blades, a micrometer-type spacing adjustment assembly, a calibrated width scale and a locking mechanism. The distance between the parallel blades can be selected before incision and rigidly locked so that two controlled parallel incision lines are produced during a harvesting stroke. The guided blade carriers maintain blade parallelism and reduce blade deflection under tissue resistance. Optional depth control guards, blade clamps and interchangeable components may be provided. The device improves dimensional predictability of harvested grafts, reduces reliance on free-hand parallel incisions, reduces trimming and donor site trauma, and improves surgical efficiency in periodontal and implant soft tissue augmentation procedures.
