MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511020515 A) filed by Chandigarh Engineering College Jhanjeri on March 06, 2025, for Adjustable Deburring Device.

Inventor includes Dr. Sukhdeep Singh.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: An adjustable deburring device comprising, an elongated body 101 having a proximal and distal end 103, the proximal end 102 is integrated with a handle 104 that is accessed by a user for acquiring a grip on the body 101, an imaging unit 105 embedded at the proximal end 102 and integrated with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images in vicinity of the distal end 103, an ultrasonic sensor to determine extra material/burrs present over an edge or cavity present near the distal end 103, a laser projector 106 arranged at the distal end 103 that is actuated by an inbuilt microcontroller in sync with the imaging unit 105 to project a beam of light over the burrs edge/cavity, a pair of motorized discs 107 assembled at the distal end 103 over the projected light.
