Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a wireless communication device may transmit a first reference signal. The wireless communication device may receive a second reference signal that is in response to the first reference signal, the first reference signal and the second reference signal having a same operating frequency. The wireless communication device may determine a first channel impulse response based on the first reference signal and the second reference signal. The wireless communication device may generate a measurement report for output, the measurement report including a reported channel impulse response that is based on the first channel impulse response and indicates multiple propagation paths observable from the second reference signal.
