The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The titled invention discloses an ADAS-integrated lane detection and surroundings awareness system for irregular roads for providing real-time pothole detection, road danger classification, and autonomous vehicle navigation. The system comprises a GPS module (1), an ultrasonic sensor (2), a wide-range radar sensor (3), a long-range radar sensor (4), a pothole sensor (5), a sensor interface unit (6), a CAN bus module (7), a controller unit (8), an Al processing unit (9), a camera module (10), a power supply interface (11), a buck-boost converter (12), a steering motor driver (13), a steering motor (14), a steering position feedback unit (15), a STS motor driver (16), and rear motors (17). The camera module captures real-time road images, while the Ai processing unit performs YOLO-based pothole detection, pothole severity classification, and autonomous navigation decision-making. The controller unit controls vehicle steering and movement based on the generated navigation commands, while the radar sensors continuously monitor surrounding obstacles for safe navigation. The invention improves driving safety, reduces vehicle damage, and enables reliable autonomous navigation on irregular road surfaces.
