Inventors include Dr Shradha Kanwar; Dr Sujay Nair; and Dr Sagar Gulati.
The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: An adaptive outcome-based education system is disclosed. The system stores institutional outcomes and competencies in a machine readable ontology and links heterogeneous Ieamer evidence objects to the ontology. An attainment calculator computes reliability weighted competency attainment scores and propagates the scores to course and program outcomes. A cognitive load estimator computes a cognitive load index from Ieamer interaction and performance signals. An adaptive controller selects interventions under outcome and cognitive constraints to control pacing and modality. A reporting engine generates accreditation artifacts and continuous quality improvement recommendations. A provenance and audit log records mapping versions, evidence identifiers, computation versions, and report snapshots to enable reproducible audit ready reporting.
