Abstract: An adaptive uncertainty-aware healthcare task scheduling system (100) for heterogeneous fog-cloud computing environments is disclosed. The system (100) comprises an ICU data input unit, a feature processing unit, an execution prediction unit, a clinical severity unit, a decision engine, an execution node selection unit, and an adaptive feedback unit. The feature processing unit generates multidimensional heterogeneous-context feature representations comprising task-level features, node-level features, and cross-dimensional interaction features. The execution prediction unit generates predicted execution latency and prediction uncertainty values using ensemble-based predictive analysis. The clinical severity unit computes patient severity scores using physiological parameters including heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and ECG anomaly indicators. The decision engine computes node-selection risk scores using latency, uncertainty, patient severity, node-load, and network-delay parameters for adaptive node assignment. The adaptive feedback unit performs workload-divergence detection and adaptive predictive-model retraining.
