The sole houses an adjustable nail mechanism featuring retractable nails made from rust-resistant materials, each spring-loaded and housed within strategically positioned cavities. A manual control system, incorporating a dial, switch, or lever, is located near the heel or side of the shoe and is operatively connected to the adjustable nail mechanism via gears or mechanical linkages. This system allows for the extension or retraction of the nails, with a locking feature to prevent accidental adjustments.
