MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641076515 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Information Technology Kottayam on June 20, 2026, for Adaptive Throughput-Aware Rollup Orchestration System For Dynamic Optimization Of Zero-Knowledge Layer 2 Networks.
Inventors include Mr. Unnikrishnan K N; and Dr. P Victer Paul.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an Adaptive Throughput-Aware Rollup Orchestration System (ATROS) for dynamic optimization of Zero-Knowledge Rollup (ZK-Rollup) based Layer 2 blockchain networks. The system comprises a Monitoring Module, a Throughput Prediction Engine, an Optimization Engine, a Decision Engine, a Rollup Orchestration Layer, and a Feedback Control Layer. The Monitoring Module continuously collects operational metrics including transaction demand, gas prices, network latency, proof- generation workload, sequencer performance, and Layer 1 confirmation characteristics. Based on historical and real-time operational data, the Throughput Prediction Engine predicts future network conditions and throughput behavior. The Optimization Engine determines optimal rollup parameters including transaction batch size, proof-generation schedules, Layer 1 submission frequency, sequencer committee configuration, transaction prioritization policies, and resource allocation strategies. The Rollup Orchestration Layer dynamically implements optimization decisions, while the Feedback Control Layer continuously refines system performance. The invention improves throughput, scalability, resource utilization, congestion management, and transaction cost efficiency while maintaining blockchain security and decentralization.
