MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641107328 A) filed by Hindustan Institute Of Technology And Science on September 07, 2026, for Adaptive Threshold Structure-Based Optimal Method For Interval Type 2 Fuzzy Rhotrix Representation With Efficient Data Compression And Minimum Reconstruction Error..

Inventors include Santhanamari. E; and G. Kavitha.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: This study presents a method that transforms conventional interval type 2 fuzzy matrix data into an interval type 2 fuzzy rhotrix for handling uncertainty in data compression. The study proposes reconstruction strategies to overcome the limitation of direct thresholding in preserving rhotrix structure. Additionally, a hybrid method is used to enhance both structural consistency and data accuracy. An automatic adaptive algorithm is designed to select the optimal reconstruction method based on minimum error. The proposed invention reduces data storage requirements and improves the efficiency of data transmission while maintaining the essential characteristics of the original data. The invention is applicable to digital data storage, image processing, information transmission, and computational data management systems.
