Abstract: A bidirectional intelligent adaptive thermokinetic orchestration system for curing a filament wound reinforced composite structure, particularly a composite pressure vessel (200), comprises an industrial oven (101), a servo-driven rotating spindle (102), heating elements (108), a cooling arrangement (109), surface and core temperature sensors (110–113), rotation speed and torque sensors (116, 117), and a programmable logic controller (106). The controller executes an adaptive orchestration algorithm that, based on thermal feedback, estimated degree of cure, resin viscosity, and reaction torque, dynamically regulates alternating clockwise and anticlockwise rotation, rotational speed, pause duration, heating rate, and cooling rate. The coordinated thermokinetic control suppresses resin migration, minimises through-thickness thermal gradients, promotes a substantially uniform degree of cure, and reduces curing time and energy consumption compared with conventional unidirectional curing processes.
