Abstract: ABSTRACT Adaptive Thermoelectric Waste Heat Recovery System for Internal Combustion Engines The present invention relates to an adaptive thermoelectric waste heat recovery system for an internal combustion engine (101), comprising an exhaust pipe (102), a heat exchanger (103), thermoelectric generator (TEG) modules (104a), a cooling mechanism (105), a power conditioning circuit (106), a DC-DC buck converter (107), a charger module (108) and a battery (109). The heat exchanger (103) captures thermal energy from high-temperature exhaust gases and transfers the thermal energy to a hot side of the TEG modules (104a), while the cooling mechanism (105) maintains a comparatively lower temperature at a cold side thereof to establish a temperature gradient for Seebeck-effect electrical generation. The generated electrical energy is conditioned and stored in the battery (109) and/or supplied to an auxiliary electrical load (110). An ESP32 controller (111) with temperature sensors (112, 113, 114) provides thermal monitoring and adaptive cooling control, while an OLED display (115) and wireless module (116) facilitate system monitoring and communication.
