Abstract: Disclosed are a system (100) and method (300) for adaptively drying an agricultural product (102). The method (300) comprises placing a batch of the agricultural product (102) on drying trays supported by load cells within a drying chamber (104) and supplying conditioned drying air thereto using a heat pump assembly (106). A control unit (108) obtains real-time measurement data from multiple sensors, including temperature data, humidity data, weight data, Volatile Organic Compound (VOC)-related data, and image data associated with the agricultural product (102). The control unit (108) determines a drying state of the batch based on which the control unit (108) automatically generates control signals to regulate drying parameters during a multi-phase drying process until a target drying condition is achieved. The control unit (108) further controls a display unit (112) or remote user interface to present drying status, moisture estimates, classifications, alerts, warning notifications, and automatic shut-off information.
