Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart thermomechanical torque generator system for regenerating electricity from low-grade waste heat generated by air conditioning, refrigeration, and cooling systems. The system comprises a thermal capture assembly configured to absorb waste heat from condenser components, a phase-change material-based thermal buffering subsystem, and a torque generation module including thermally responsive actuators arranged around a rotor assembly. Thermal energy induces controlled actuation that generates continuous rotational torque, which is transferred through a magnetic coupling to an electrical generator for power production. An adaptive smart control unit receives data from thermal, mechanical, electrical, and environmental sensors and dynamically optimizes thermal engagement, torque generation, and electrical load matching. The system further includes power conditioning, energy storage, fail-safe protection, and remote monitoring capabilities. The disclosed invention enables efficient conversion of intermittent low-grade waste heat into usable electrical energy while improving overall cooling system efficiency and sustainability.
