Abstract: ABSTRACT ADAPTIVE SMART BUILDING ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED TEMPORAL PREDICTION The present invention provides an adaptive smart building energy management system comprises IoT-enabled PZEM-004T electrical parameter sensing modules interfaced with current transformer coils for measuring voltage, current, active power, cumulative energy consumption. The sensors continuously collect load information and transmit the acquired data to the processing layer through the MODBUS communication protocol. A dual-microcontroller processing layer, integrating Arduino mega and ESP8266 Wi-Fi module, performs data validation, packet structuring, and wireless transmission to a PHP-based server with MySQL database backend for time-series storage. A Transformer-based deep learning intelligence layer captures long-range temporal dependencies in energy consumption patterns, generating high-accuracy energy demand forecasts. A four-channel relay module executes automated adaptive load control based on predicted demand. A dual-layer cryptographic security framework implements AES-256 encryption, SHA-256 hashing, and timestamp-based replay attack prevention for end-to-end data protection. Cross-platform web dashboard and mobile application interfaces enable real-time monitoring, historical trend analysis, and customizable energy consumption reporting. The present invention also discloses method of operation of the present system. FIG. 2
