MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521073752 A) filed by Nevira Ergonoms Private Limited; and Ms. Rima Rahul Joshi on August 02, 2025, for Adaptive Shoes For Gait And Posture Support With Even Body Weight Distribution.

Inventor includes Ms. Rima Rahul Joshi.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to adaptive footwear configured to promote natural gait progression, postural alignment and progressive redistribution of plantar loads. The footwear comprises an anatomically adaptive upper, a flexible Strobel construction, an adaptive footbed, a responsive multi-zone midsole and a variable-flex outsole configured to operate cooperatively as an integrated biomechanical platform. The upper accommodates physiological toe splay and forefoot expansion while maintaining controlled stabilization of the midfoot and rearfoot. The adaptive footbed redistributes plantar pressure, the responsive midsole provides region-specific impact attenuation, guidance and propulsion, and the outsole guides physiological centre-of-pressure progression during successive phases of gait. The coordinated interaction of these components improves walking efficiency, enhances stability, reduces localized plantar pressure concentrations and promotes balanced body weight distribution while permitting natural anatomical movement of the foot.
