Abstract: An adaptive shoe-mounted rehabilitation device for ankle-foot comprising a frame 101 with a mounting assembly having multiple detachable locking brackets 102 and motorized clamps 103 for securing the frame 101 to an external heel region of a footwear worn by a user, a drawer arrangement adapted to adjust size of the frame 101 along a posterior region of a calf portion of user’s leg, a motorized hinge joint 105 to allow controlled dorsiflexion while mechanically restricting lateral rotation, a telescopic assistance assembly 104 to physically elevate the forefoot, a gait detection suite for real-time monitoring of heel-strike, mid-stance, and toe-off phases, a muscle performance module for localized thermal and mechanical therapy, and a microcontroller operatively coupled with the gait detection suite to dynamically synchronize lift assistance with the user’s gait cycle while preventing over-dependence through a recovery-based profile.
