Abstract: An adaptive seating assistive device, comprising a first extendable frame 1 installed on a ground surface via a pair of telescopically operated rods 2 and installed with a second extendable frame 3 via a pair of motorized hinges 4 developed to support back and hip portion of individuals while sitting, a proximity sensor frame for detecting presence of individuals in surroundings, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 for detecting number of the individuals, a pair of motorized sliders 7 for translating the plates 5 away from each other in view of allowing the individuals to comfortably accommodate over the plates 5, plurality of ultrasonic sensors for detecting average height of the individual and a curved-shaped member 8 via a motorized pivot joint 9 for deploying the member 8 in view of providing shade over the individual’s heads.
