MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641110690 A) filed by New Horizon College Of Engineering on September 15, 2026, for Adaptive Relationship- Based Trust Framework For Qr Phishing Detection Using Evidence Interaction.

Inventors include Sivasankari Ss; Vinu R; and Jisy N K.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a Dynamic Relationship-Based Trust Evolution Framework for QR-code phishing detection using an Evidence Interaction Matrix (EIM) and an Adaptive Relationship Update Algorithm (ARUA). The framework analyses URL, domain, webpage, contextual, reputation, and interaction evidence by identifying relationships, dependencies, consistency, and conflicts among evidence elements. The EIM generates an evidence relationship state, while the ARUA dynamically updates trust relationships among QR codes, URLs, domains, webpages, users, and interaction events based on newly observed evidence. A Dynamic Trust Computation Engine determines the evolving trust state and classifies the QR-code interaction as trusted, suspicious, or malicious. The framework accordingly allows, warns, verifies, or blocks the interaction, providing adaptive and continuously evolving protection against QR-code phishing attacks.
