Abstract: The present invention relates to an adaptive predictive maintenance architecture using federated learning in connected IoT environments. The architecture comprises distributed sensing networks, edge intelligence nodes, federated learning agents, aggregation servers, predictive maintenance engines, digital twin environments, maintenance orchestration frameworks, cybersecurity infrastructures, and enterprise integration platforms. Operational information associated with industrial assets is analyzed locally through machine learning models trained at edge nodes. Model parameters are aggregated through federated learning mechanisms to generate collaborative predictive intelligence while preserving operational privacy and preventing transfer of raw information. The architecture generates equipment health assessments, degradation forecasts, remaining useful life estimations, failure probability analyses, maintenance schedules, and operational optimization recommendations. The invention improves predictive maintenance effectiveness, enhances privacy preservation, reduces communication overhead, improves equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports intelligent asset management across connected industrial IoT ecosystems.
