Abstract: An adaptive operating system control system for dynamically optimizing operation of a host operating system , an event monitoring module to capture host operating system activity data, a data stream and feature processing module to convert the captured activity data into machine-readable features, an AI inference module to generate one or more proposed control decisions, a user profile database to store user behavior history and preference parameters, a decision and policy manager to evaluate the proposed control decisions against safety constraints and policy rules to generate approved control actions, an action execution module to apply the approved control actions to the host operating system, a feedback module to observe effects of the approved control actions on subsequent host operating system activity data and to update at least one of the user behavior history, preference parameters, or AI inference module parameters.
