Abstract: ADAPTIVE MULTILINGUAL INTERACTION FRAMEWORK FOR IMPROVING ORAL PROFICIENCY IN ESL LEARNERS USING CONTEXT-AWARE LANGUAGE SWITCHING The present invention discloses an adaptive multilingual interaction framework for improving oral proficiency in English as a Second Language (ESL) learners using context-aware language switching. The system integrates speech recognition, natural language understanding, reinforcement learning, and multilingual translation to create an intelligent conversational environment that dynamically adapts to the learner’s linguistic background and proficiency level. A context analysis engine determines when to switch between English and the learner’s native language to maintain comprehension and engagement. A reinforcement learning module optimizes teaching strategies based on learner feedback and performance, while a pronunciation correction module provides real-time feedback on articulation and intonation. The framework also includes a cultural context module that interprets idiomatic expressions and regional references, ensuring contextual relevance. By combining adaptive learning, multilingual support, and real-time feedback, the invention enhances oral proficiency, fluency, and confidence among ESL learners. The system can be deployed across mobile, web, and classroom platforms, offering a scalable and personalized solution for global language education.
