Abstract: The present invention pertains to an Automated Zone-Based Water Distribution System having Adaptive Scheduling and Remote Valve Control for the purpose of regulating the distribution of water amongst various service zones. The invention includes a water source, water availability monitor, scheduling and time management module, control and allocation module, valve actuation and switching mechanism, various service zones, monitor and data management module, user supervision and access module, and notification/alert module. The system operates in a sequential manner where water is allocated according to pre-set schedules and allocation parameters. The conditions of water availability are consistently measured and used for the regulation of water distribution processes as well as scheduling processes. Further, this invention allows for the automation of distribution valves, supervision of water distribution systems remotely, as well as generation of notifications and alerts. The current invention helps in achieving effective water allocation based on water availability, automation of valves, increased efficiency, and minimized wastage from traditional practices. The present invention can be used in villages, residential colonies, apartments, campuses, municipal water distribution systems, and any other place that requires scheduling and systematic management of water distribution processes.
