Abstract: Adaptive Multi-Objective Optimization Framework for Hydrogen-Integrated ACDC Microgrids The present invention relates to an adaptive multi-objective optimization framework for intelligent energy management in hydrogen-integrated hybrid AC/DC microgrids incorporating renewable energy sources, battery energy storage systems (BESS), hydrogen production and storage units, fuel cells, and bidirectional power converters. The framework comprises a supervisory controller configured to acquire real-time operational data, forecast renewable generation and load demand using artificial intelligence-based predictive models, and execute an adaptive multi-objective optimization algorithm for coordinated energy dispatch. The framework simultaneously minimizes operational cost, battery degradation, renewable energy curtailment, converter losses, and carbon emissions while maximizing renewable energy utilization, hydrogen storage efficiency, system reliability, and operational resilience. The controller dynamically schedules battery operation, hydrogen production, fuel cell dispatch, and AC/DC power exchange under varying operating conditions. The invention provides an intelligent, scalable, and resilient energy management solution that enhances renewable energy integration, improves system efficiency, extends asset life, and ensures reliable power supply for hybrid AC/DC microgrids.
