MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611090818 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering And Technology Niet on July 26, 2026, for Adaptive Multi-Embedding Retrieval Security Framework With Dynamic Semantic Routing And Retrieval Camouflage.

Inventors include Dr. Rashmi Sharma; and Ms. Pooja Kumari.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an adaptive multi-embedding retrieval security system (100) for protecting information retrieval and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines against embedding inference and inversion attacks. The system (100) comprises a query interface module (110), an adversarial query detection module (120) that identifies random-string, non-query and probing inputs through lexical and behavioral analysis, a dynamic semantic router (130) that unpredictably routes each query to at least one of a plurality of embedding models (142, 144, 146) in an embedding model pool (140), and a retrieval camouflage engine (160) that modifies document sets retrieved from a vector database (150) using stochastic result perturbation, decoy document injection and adaptive similarity thresholding. A reranker module (170) restores relevance before a response generation module (180) produces the answer, whereby model fingerprinting by black-box adversaries is defeated while retrieval quality for legitimate users
