The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.

Abstract: Cloud computing has made it easy to store enormous amounts of data remotely, but that convenience comes with tradeoffs. Single-cloud architectures remain exposed to real risks — unauthorized access, data breaches, insider threats, outages, and the simple fact that relying on one provider creates a single point of failure. Encryption helps, but it doesn't fully solve the problem: an encrypted file sitting entirely with one provider is still vulnerable if that provider is compromised or goes offline. What's missing is a storage approach that improves confidentiality, integrity, and availability without depending on any single location. This work introduces AIMSS — an Adaptive Image-Based Multi-Cloud Secure Storage System — which brings together encryption, image-based data transformation, adaptive fragmentation, intelligent distribution across storage nodes, and isolated metadata handling in one unified framework. The process starts with validating the uploaded file and generating a SHA- 256 hash for later inte
