Abstract: The present invention relates to an Adaptive Hypergraph Optimization Algorithm for Complex Networks configured to model, analyze, and optimize complex networks containing higher-order interactions among multiple interconnected nodes. The system acquires network topology, node characteristics, connectivity, traffic, resource, and performance information and represents the network using a hypergraph comprising vertices and multi-node hyperedges. Structural and operational features including hyperdegree, hyperedge cardinality, centrality, connectivity, community structure, latency, energy consumption, congestion, and reliability are extracted from the hypergraph. An adaptive optimization module dynamically adjusts optimization parameters according to network conditions, solution diversity, convergence behavior, and performance variations. Multiple candidate network configurations are generated and evaluated using a multi-objective fitness function considering communication cost, latency, energy consumption, connectivity, reliability, load balancing, and fault tolerance. The system dynamically adds, removes, merges, splits, or reweights hyperedges to improve network performance. Upon detecting topology or operational changes, the system updates the hypergraph and performs adaptive re-optimization using previously obtained solutions. The invention provides improved adaptability, scalability, robustness, resource utilization, and optimization efficiency for dynamic complex networks and is applicable to communication networks, Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, transportation systems, smart grids, industrial networks, and distributed computing environments.
