Abstract: The present invention relates to an adaptive Human-Centric Artificial Intelligence (HCAI) framework for intelligent solar energy management that combines artificial intelligence, human decision support, Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, and explainable decision analytics into a unified energy management platform. Unlike conventional solar energy management systems that rely on fixed rule-based control or standalone machine learning models, the proposed framework continuously learns from operational data, environmental conditions, human expertise, historical energy consumption, and user preferences to generate adaptive recommendations for energy managers. The framework acquires real-time data from photovoltaic systems, battery storage, smart meters, weather stations, occupancy sensors, and connected electrical loads. An AI decision engine analyzes these heterogeneous data streams to predict energy generation, optimize load scheduling, recommend battery charging and discharging strategies, identify abnormal operating conditions, and estimate future energy demand while maintaining human oversight in all critical decisions. Explainable AI modules provide transparent reasoning for each recommendation, enabling greater trust, accountability, and operational efficiency. The invention improves renewable energy utilization, reduces operational costs, minimizes carbon emissions, enhances decision quality, and supports intelligent energy management for smart buildings, campuses, industries, hospitals, commercial facilities, and utility-scale solar installations.
