Abstract: A healthcare emergency monitoring system comprises sensing devices (101 to 112) acquiring multimodal patient information and an edge processing unit hosting cooperating engines. A context-aware sensor reliability engine assigns each device a confidence weight from signal quality, interference, temporal consistency, cross- sensor coherence, hardware status and learned accuracy, and excludes any device below an adaptive floor. A fusion engine (200) combines the weighted observations into a unified patient health representation (208). A risk estimation engine computes patient-personalized risk and risk confidence using longitudinal memory (300) and a temporal health-state graph. A simulation engine ranks candidate responses, and a decision engine (402) classifies the patient state under dynamically adjusted boundaries, verifying a suspected event within a forecast-derived time bound before escalating. A hierarchical communication optimization engine (404) selects, monitors and automatically re-routes emergency communications across heterogeneous channels, and a federated intelligence engine improves the models without transmitting raw patient data.
