The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: An adaptive sensor-integrated green roof module system (100) is disclosed for enabling controlled environmental regulation and resource optimisation in urban buildings. The system (100) comprises a modular load-bearing frame (101) having an interlocking mechanism (102), a water retention and controlled drainage assembly (103), an engineered substrate layer (104) supporting a vegetation layer (105), and a multi-parameter environmental sensor array (106) embedded within the engineered substrate layer (104) and configured to generate signals corresponding to moisture, temperature, and light conditions. An irrigation and nutrient delivery layer (107) is fluidly connected to the engineered substrate layer (104) and operatively associated with an electronic control unit (108). The electronic control unit (108) is configured to receive sensed environmental data, compare the data with stored reference ranges, and generate control signals to selectively actuate irrigation and drainage operations, thereby enabling closed-loop regulation of moisture levels and controlled water discharge.
