Abstract: An adaptive fire responsive evacuation system, comprising a sensing unit 101 arranged within an enclosure 102, to monitor environmental conditions indicative of fire emergencies, a collapsible evacuation chute 103 to provide safe evacuation path for occupants during emergencies, an imaging unit 209 to determine body dimensions, position, and movement of incoming occupants, a hinged lid 210 gets open for allowing entry of an occupant on detection of genuine fire event, a LiDAR sensing module to generate three dimensional spatial mapping of occupant entry region, a plurality of inflatable pads 211 provided with magnetorheological (MR) gel layer 212 and connected to an inflating unit 213 to control air pressure in the pads 211 to adjust firmness, a health monitoring unit 201 to continuously evaluate heart rate fluctuations, breathing irregularities, consciousness level, posture instability, and panic behaviour of the occupant, and an inflatable member 214 to absorb impact energy and cushion the occupant upon arrival.
