MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641075427 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on June 18, 2026, for Adaptive Fabric Cleaning System With Ai-Based Resource Allocation.

Inventors include K. Santhi; Gowsik V; and Pendekanti Sai Deepthi.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT ADAPTIVE FABRIC CLEANING SYSTEM WITH AI-BASED RESOURCE ALLOCATION An adaptive fabric cleaning system (100) comprises a washing chamber (10) receiving garments, an imaging module (20) capturing images of the garments, a contamination detection unit (30) detecting contamination characteristics, a load sensing unit (40) measuring weight and distribution, a steam generation module (50) producing controlled steam, an ultrasonic cleaning module (60) generating ultrasonic waves for contaminant removal, and a controlled water dispensing unit (70) delivering water. An electronic control unit (80) with an artificial intelligence processing engine receives data from the imaging module (20), contamination detection unit (30), and load sensing unit (40), analyzes the data to determine contamination level, stain type, fabric composition, and load size, generates a cleaning profile, and dynamically allocates cleaning resources comprising water quantity, steam treatment intensity, and ultrasonic cleaning intensity. A communication interface (90) enables data transfer between the electronic control unit (80) and external devices.
