MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611089488 A) filed by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College on July 22, 2026, for Adaptive Energy Monitoring And Load Forecasting System With Transformer Stress Prediction And Working Method Thereof.

Inventors include Devansh Agarwal; Vasudev Chaudhary; and Dr. A. K. Rai.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an adaptive energy monitoring and load forecasting system with transformer stress prediction, hereinafter referred to as system (100), configured for predictive and real-time management of electrical distribution networks. The system (100) comprises a multi-modal sensing unit (101) for acquiring electrical and environmental parameters, an edge processing gateway (102) for data conditioning and feature extraction, a secure communication interface (103) for transmitting processed data, and a central analytics infrastructure (104). An adaptive ensemble forecasting engine (105) generates load predictions using dynamically weighted models, while a physics-informed stress mapping module (106) estimates transformer thermal stress parameters. A recommendation and control engine (107) provides prioritized operational actions. The system enables proactive load management, reduced transformer stress, improved forecasting accuracy, and efficient bandwidth utilization, thereby enhancing grid reliability and operational efficiency.
