Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an adaptive energy management system with dynamic load classification and automatic renewable-grid source selection for efficient power distribution in renewable energy integrated electrical systems. The system employs an ESP32-based controller to continuously monitor load currents using current transformers connected to individual load branches. The controller computes real-time RMS current values, determines total load demand, and dynamically classifies loads into priority categories. Based on comparison between renewable energy availability and load demand, the system automatically switches between renewable energy and utility grid supply using a relay-based interlocking mechanism to ensure safe operation. The invention further provides overload detection and priority-based load management by selectively disconnecting lower-priority loads while maintaining supply to critical loads. The system operates through local edge processing without dependency on cloud computing, enabling faster response and improved reliability. The invention enhances renewable energy utilization, reduces grid dependency, and ensures efficient and intelligent energy distribution.
