Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is an adaptive energy management system for a solar-powered microgrid, comprising a solar photovoltaic source generating electrical power, an energy storage unit comprising at least one battery, a sensing arrangement generating operating data representative of generated electrical power, load demand, and storage condition, a load control arrangement for selective connection and disconnection of electrical loads in accordance with load priority, a power routing arrangement directing electrical power to the energy storage unit and the electrical loads, and a control unit receiving the operating data, applying a machine learning model, generating predicted load demand data and predicted power generation data, generating control instructions, causing prioritized load connection and disconnection, and controlling charging, discharging, and routing of electrical power through the power routing arrangement.
