MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109601 A) filed by Manav Rachna University on September 12, 2026, for Adaptive Emotional Support Recommendation System.

Inventors include Dr. Urmila Pilania; and Dr. Manoj Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is an adaptive emotional support recommendation system comprising a user interface receiving textual interaction data, a privacy filtering arrangement processing the textual interaction data, an emotion recognition engine determining an emotional-state result from the processed textual interaction data, a crisis-risk detection arrangement determining a risk condition associated with the interaction, and a recommendation engine selecting a coping strategy according to the emotional-state result and the risk condition. A feedback-learning arrangement receives user feedback associated with a selected coping strategy and alters subsequent recommendation selection according to the received feedback. Contextual language processing supports determination of the emotional-state result from user text, while separate crisis-risk processing provides an additional decision input before selection of the coping strategy. The processing arrangement thereby provides privacy- conscious, state-dependent recommendation generation with adaptation based on information obtained from earlier user interactions.
