MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541131579 A) filed by Supremology Software Services Pvt. Ltd. on December 24, 2025, for Adaptive Distributed Intrusion Detection And Mitigation Mesh For Software Defined Vehicles.

Inventor includes Sri Teja Lanke.

The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an Adaptive Distributed Intrusion Detection and Mitigation Mesh (ADIDMM) system (100) for a Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV). The system (100) comprises electronic control units (102) having intrusion detection hooks (110) embedded across multiple AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture (AUTOSAR) software layers, a processing unit (106), a High-Performance Computer (HPC) Domain Aggregator (112), a Central Aggregator (114), an Edge Server Platform (116), and a Cloud Server Platform (118). The processing unit (106) acquires communication parameters, generates and exchanges local security states, determines intrusion conditions through cross-layer correlation, and generates structured security events. The structured security events are hierarchically processed to generate domain-level threat information, perform vehicle-wide threat correlation, determine adaptive mitigation strategies, and distribute mitigation commands. The edge and cloud computing platforms facilitate collaborative threat analysis, adaptive risk assessment, fleet-wide threat intelligence generation, cybersecurity policy refinement, and over-the-air security updates.
