Abstract: An adaptive digital twin-based system is provided for real-time health monitoring and predictive failure management of a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). The system acquires electrical, thermal, environmental, and operational parameters from selected PCB components and circuit regions and synchronizes the acquired data with a component-level digital twin. The digital twin evaluates combined thermal, electrical, load, environmental, and aging stresses to determine component degradation and generate a dynamic PCB Health Index. An artificial intelligence prediction engine identifies early failure precursor patterns, determines probable failure locations, predicts failure probability, and estimates Remaining Useful Life (RUL). A virtual stress simulation module evaluates the effect of proposed load, thermal, or operating- condition changes before applying them to the physical PCB. An adaptive condition monitoring mechanism prioritizes components exhibiting abnormal behavior and determines prediction confidence from measured and predicted responses. A feedback mechanism compares actual PCB behavior with digital-twin predictions and automatically updates degradation states, failure predictions, and RUL. The system thereby provides a self-adaptive approach for PCB reliability assessment, early failure prediction, and condition-based predictive maintenance.
