MUMBAI, India, June 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641072255 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on June 10, 2026, for Adaptive Digital Habit And Deadline Management System.
Inventors include R Sujatha; and R L Kushal.
The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT ADAPTIVE DIGITAL HABIT AND DEADLINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM An adaptive digital habit and deadline management system (100) comprises a user activity monitor (102) recording digital behaviour patterns including application usage, focus duration, switching frequency, and idle periods. A reinforcement learning habit analyzer (104) identifies habitual behaviour patterns, distraction triggers, and procrastination loops, and predicts procrastination likelihood. A calendar reader module (106) fetches deadlines, events, tasks, and metadata from calendar platforms. A task decomposition engine (108) converts deadlines into logical subtasks with dependency mapping and priority-weighted chunking. A daily plan optimizer (110) distributes subtasks across time windows based on predicted productivity patterns. A dynamic nudge engine (112) implements four-level graduated interventions based on multi-factor scoring. An adaptive rescheduling module (114) redistributes incomplete tasks using a least-loaded-day-first algorithm. The reinforcement learning habit analyzer (104) and calendar reader module (106) operate as a dual-engine architecture in synchronized feedback loops feeding into the daily plan optimizer (110).
