Abstract: In certain examples, a method includes receiving, at a request orchestrator of a cache system, a first data request; determining that data requested in the first data request is not in a cache storage; requesting the data requested in the first data request from a storage device; receiving, by the request orchestrator, a response with metadata associated with the data; generating, using a key generation engine, keys based on the metadata and a schema defining a context and one or more sub-contexts related to stored data, where the keys include a context key and one or more sub-context keys; and storing the data in the cache storage associated with the plurality of keys, wherein future data requests received at the request orchestrator may be at least partially serviced using the data from the cache storage retrieved using one or more of the plurality of keys.
