The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT ADAPTIVE COLOR-SENSITIVE IMAGE ENHANCEMENT AND WASTE CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATED RECYCLING A computer-implemented method (100) for adaptive color-sensitive image enhancement and waste classification for automated recycling comprises transporting (102) waste materials along a conveyor-driven material-handling platform, capturing (104) an image of a waste object using imaging devices adjacent to the platform, and applying (108) adaptive color-sensitive preprocessing to the captured image. The preprocessing comprises separating (206) the captured image into a plurality of color channels, applying (208) adaptive color-sensitive enhancement independently to each color channel using category-aware enhancement parameters selected based on predefined material-specific visual characteristics, and recombining (216) the enhanced color channels into an adaptively enhanced image. The method comprises supplying (110) the adaptively enhanced image to an intelligent classification module, generating (112) a classification output identifying a waste category, and transmitting (114) the classification output to an automated sorting controller configured to activate sorting mechanisms directing the waste object toward a designated recycling container.
