Abstract: The present invention relates to an Adaptive Behaviour Learning Digital Twin Framework for Battery Health Monitoring and Decision Support for lithium-ion batteries. The framework acquires battery operational data from a Battery Management System (BMS), estimates battery health parameters, and maintains a continuously synchronized Digital Twin of each battery. The Digital Twin learns battery-specific degradation behaviour by analysing historical operational data and generates an adaptive degradation profile for every battery. Based on battery health status, degradation behaviour, charging characteristics, operating conditions, and usage history, the framework provides context-aware maintenance recommendations to support predictive maintenance and battery lifecycle management. The invention further enables early detection of abnormal battery ageing, personalized battery health assessment, and efficient monitoring of individual batteries or battery fleets, thereby improving battery reliability, operational safety, maintenance planning, and overall battery lifespan.
