Abstract: An adaptable weight lifting assistive device, comprises of a wearable component 101 developed to be worn by a user on the user’s back and arranged with a pair of arm supports 102 that are worn by the user on the user’s arms, a pressure sensor for monitoring pressure exerted by the straps and belts 103 against the user’s body, a motorized roller 104 to tighten/loosen the straps and belts 103, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 105 to monitor activities of the user, an ultrasonic sensor for determining orientation of weight to be lifted by the user, a drawer arrangement to get extended for aiding the user in uplifting the weight, a motorized winch 106 coiled with an electromagnetically powered spring 107 connected with the belts 103 to apply pulling force on the user’s waist, and an angle sensor for monitoring angle of the weight with respect to the user’s body.
