Abstract: An adaptable thermometer storage device, comprising an extendable housing 101 positioned over a fixed surface to accommodate a thermometer, a microphone 103 installed over the housing 101 to receive user’s voice command, an imaging unit 104 installed over the housing 101 to determine presence of the thermometer near the housing 101, a laser measurement sensor installed over the housing 101 to monitor length and diameter of the thermometer, a drawer arrangement installed with the housing 101 to provide extension to the housing 101 for properly accommodating the thermometer, two robotic grippers 106 installed over the housing 101 to grip and position the thermometer over a cushioned platform 208 arranged within the housing 101, two sliding units 201 installed inside the housing 101 to provide translation to multiple clamps 202 for positioning the clamps 202 along stem of the thermometer to regulate alignment of the thermometer within the housing 101.
