Abstract: An adaptable sitting device, comprising a rectangular base 101 adapted to be positioned over a ground surface or a floor, a telescopic rod 102 attached on the base 101 by means of a primary ball and socket joint 103, a plurality of elongated cylindrical bars 104 radially attached on an outer periphery of an expansion pulley 105 mounted on an upper end of the rod 102, a plurality of L-shaped telescopic links 106 attached with the rod 102, suction cups 107 for gripping onto the base 101 and supporting the rod 102 in tilted positions, a pair of telescopic poles 108 installed on the base 101 by means of secondary ball and socket joints 109, upper ends of the poles 108 provided with clamps 110 for supporting the user to prevent a fall and an imaging unit 111 to determine a falling user.
