Abstract: An adaptable pipe bending device, comprises of a platform 101 integrated with a touch interactive display panel 102 to give input commands for bending of pipe, along with specifying curvature of the bent, a camera 103 mounted on the plate for capturing multiple images of the surroundings, a scissor lift arrangement 105 for lifting and positioning a plate installed with the platform 101 in proximity to the user-selected location of the pipe, an ultrasonic to detect dimensions of the pipe, a curved- shaped body 106 constructed with multiple curved-shaped extendable members developed to be engaged around the pipe to extend/retract, a capacitance sensor embedded on the body 106 to detect material type of the pipe, an optical sensor to detect presence of ice/ snow over the pipe, and color sensor to detect presence and type of coating on a pipe.
