Abstract: An adaptable pattern engraving device for concrete floor, comprises of an elongated rod 101 integrated with a touch interactive display panel 103 for providing input regarding a layout of a design which is to be engraved on a concrete laid ground surface, an imaging unit 104 synced with an ultrasonic sensor integrated on the rod 101 to determine dimensions of the surface, a laser emitter 105 mounted on the rod 101 for projecting a beam of laser light over the evaluated pattern, multiple pneumatically operated pins 107 integrated underneath the plate 106 to extend/retract for pressing the pins 107 against the surface, multiple pressure sensor integrated underneath the plate 106 for monitoring pressure applied by the plate 106 against the surface, and a depth sensor integrated on the plate 106 for monitoring depth of cavity engraved on the surface.
