Abstract: An adaptable lip retracting assistive device, comprising a frame 101 having a pair of C-shaped members 102 positioned near a user’s mouth, a first ultrasonic sensor embedded in frame 101 determines user’s mouth dimensions, multiple plates 103 arranged in members 102 and integrated with multiple motorized hinge joints 104 to tilt plates 103 for increasing/decreasing size of plates 103 as per user’s mouth dimensions to hold user’s mouth open, a silicon layer fabricated over members 102 provide comfortable experience to user, a U-shaped unit 105 attached between members 102 via a pair of electromagnets 106 gets engaged with user’s chin for securing frame 101 on user’s mouth, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 107 integrated in frame 101 detects excessive salivating from user’s mouth, and a robotic link 108 installed on frame 101 position a curved flap 109 underneath user’s mouth for gathering detected salivate.
