Abstract: An adaptable knives handling assistive device, comprising a platform 101 configured with a pair of rods 102 to position underneath an upper cabinet via a plurality of suction cups 103 to provide a stable and secured attachment to cabinet surface, a drawer arrangement integrated in platform 101, enabling user to adjust dimensions of platform 101, an electromagnetic spring 105 embedded in between the rod and platform 101, actuated by microcontroller to extend/retract the platform 101, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 106 installed on the platform 101, capturing images of the knifes placed on platform 101, a plurality of extendable plates 107 arranged on platform 101 to create different sections to store knives, a microphone 108 integrated on platform 101 to receive voice commands from user about requirement of specific knife, a laser displacement sensor 109 embedded on platform 101 detecting sharpness of blade of knife.
